About Us

My family and I currently are stationed on Whidbey Island. In Oak Harbor, Wa. Tilden is in the navy and is ready to get out. haha well in 2011!! But we have a great time being together and learning new things and meeting new people. We have a wonderful lil boy Maddux, who is 4 and have a beautiful baby girl Bella, who is now going on 6 months. They are the world to us. It is the best feeling in the world to wake up every morning with a smiling face or our little boy saying morning mom and daddy. I am so thankful that I am able to stay at home with my kids, thanks to my wonderful husband Tilden. We are hoping to be out of the military by spring of 2010 and heading back to idaho for just a few years and then we will see where our life takes us. I am looking forward to this journey ahead with my beautiful family.

Let the Freedom Begin...

So Tilden and I have had a lot of free time together to actually go places and do things and not have to find a baby-sitter. We sure have been taking advatage of it, So We have had a lot of fun. We have been to the fair. We drove and hour and a half for it and it was still not even close to the good ole Idaho State Fair. we miss that most.... haha but while we were there I did have an exceptional corn on the cob. which has been an issue while being prego. I love it..... lol but we also got Bella a cowgirl hat and a few other little goodies. I of course had to leave with a carmel apple in hand. There was this awesome and amazing sculpture that this guy had done all out of sand. it was so cool. on our way back from that we stopped and saw a movie and then carried on home. Then next day we decided to go and get some last minute things before the baby gets here so we went back off the island and enjoyed a day of shopping and Olive Garden. And so here we are to yesterday, the Drive In was having a triple feature movie with 50 cent hot dogs and drinks. We so could not pass that up. but we definetly realized that when we got home at 3 in the morning why we dont do those things anymore. because we are getting older and cant handle it!!!!! I was so cramped up and stiff I felt like a Grandma. I guess we were trying to act like we were back in high school and thought we could stay out all night with no child. but in the end we just suffered. hahaha. But for now we are just laying low and have had our days of fun and adventure until Maddy comes home and can enjoy it with us. plus we are now broke.......

Here is the sculpture out of sand!!!

On the tractor ride to the car.

Oh so in love......

being silly on before we left the island...

Oh we love our dogs..

I grew up in a house with no animals. Our parents didnt think that it was good to have dogs where we lived so I never got that experience to have them. Well now I have and we have the best dogs. Dont get me wrong we have our issues here and there. especially with Tilly getting into things and chewing but that is to be epected. she is only 9 weeks old. But Dixie is also a little mischievious sometimes. but non the less we love them. And Maddux loves them to death. I am glad we have them as part of our famiy.

missing my baby.......

So my parents came up to have a quick visit on their way for some business and they stayed only one day. but it happened to be the perfect time because I was having my baby shower on saturday. So it was great to have them here for that. but in the sper of the moment they decided to take Maddux with them back to Idaho for a bit. The baby shower went great and I will have pictures up as soon as my mom makes me a copy of them. haha I thought them taking Maddy would be a great idea cuz he would have so much fun. And I am unable to take him back for a visit before the baby is born, but I am now realizing that it is so hard to be without him. I have only been without him once before like this and it was for our honeymoon. So I am missing him like crazy. I know that every mother out there has those days where they think when they are packing the car to go somewhere and they have to get everything ready,( snacks, juice, toy, stroller, and whatever else) that it is a pain in the butt and how easy it would be to just get it done without all that. but that is what we live for. at least I know I do. My every moment surrounds him and what he does. so not having him here is really weird. The house is so quiet and pretty clean. no toys to pick up. I thought it would be great to have a chance before Bella comes to get everything organized but I am now thinking that I still could have done it with him. and those everyday things that annoy me or the hard days that bug me are not so bad. and I would rather have those days then be without him. I love my lil man and I am so lonely without him. I love being a mother and wouldn't trade it for the world. It makes me so thankful that I have a great little boy that is so smart and adorable. I cant wait until he comes home and I can kiss his cute lil lips and give him a huge hug. I am so thankful..... and very blessed.......

what the crap!!

so yeah I have been trying to post the pictures but there is some internal error so I am going to try again tomorrow becuase I dont have the patience. haha so hopefully tomorrow they will be up.

lots going on....

So we went to my doctor today and I have gained so much weight it is scary!!!!! way more than I did with Maddux. but I guess the doc thinks that she is going to be a big girl. which is even scarier. haha but everything looks good. her head is not down but no need to be concerned as of now but my next apt which is sept 2 if she is not down then we need to start getting concerned and taking action. But I cant wait and I am so ready.
We also had the island county fair here this last weekend and I was so dying for some fried fair food thinking about Idaho's state fair so we went and I was so bummed. it was about a 5 min walk through the whole thing and I had like 5 food choices. very upseting. that is definetly one thing I miss about Idaho. I haven't been to the fair in 3 years and I so miss it. but in all fairness its not about me anymore and Maddux had a blast. he went on a few rides but he is so little they wouldnt let him on most. but he had a great time. and I at least got a carmel apple.

Tilden and I aslo have decided to not watch so many movies and start doing other things so we started playing monopoly and it was so much fun. I totally kicked his butt. He is so competetive and I love it when i can humble him. hahaha. And I can't forget that we also got a new addition to our family early!!!! another puppy. she is the sweetest thing and so adorable. her name is tilly. and her and dixie are so great together. well anyway here are a some pics updating on all these fun events so far. sorry they are not in order. I really want my page some day to look like all of yours out there that are amazing. but it is still a work in progress. haha

patiently waiting.....

So I am still trying to get the hang of this blog thing and thanks to Shelbey I was able to put up a friends list finally. haha so thanks shelbey!!! But I need to be better at keeping up on posting. So since July Tilden has got a second job so that I can buy all the little things for our lil girl, so we hardly see him. but when we do we have such a blast. I kicked his butt at monopoly the other night and it was great!!! haha. we love to compete!! For Maddux he is going to start therapy in the pool on the 19th so he is pretty excited for that. I think it will help alot with his balance. plus our main therapist is leaving for her maternity leave. she is due on the 3rd. I cannot wait for our girl to come I am to the point where I am pretty uncomfortable and so ready to have her out. I am 33 weeks and 2 days so not too much longer left but enough....haha Dixie our sweet loving lil dog is growing so big... but she will soon have a playmate we are getting another puppy Tues. a yellow lab. so she wont be so bored outside by herself. So for now we are just getting prepared for baby to come....
