Oh Bella

Bella is such a sweet little girl. It is amazing how fast she is already growing. I love the cooing and the sweet baby chatter. It is going to be fun to see what Tilden says about her when he finally gets to see her again for the first time since she was 5 wks. old. She has definetly changed alot already. It is going to be an adventure with this little girl. but I can't wait to see what she grows up to be. Love you Bella.

Idaho so far......

We arrived in Idaho on the 17th to a ton of snow. It is going to be a white Christmas. It has been fun so far. We have had 2 xmas parties. My sister and her family came up from Reno, Nv. It was so so so good to see them, it has been to long. I love hangin with my sister she is the best. She is such a good listener and is always there for me to lean on. Love you Cy!!! They had to leave Sunday, which was sad to see them go. 4 days is not long enough to spend with them. But it was good to have the cousins together and to finally meet my niece Morgan. What a doll she is. Here are just a few random pics from the trip so far. It takes forever to put up pics now with my new camera because I have to resize all the pics. So I will have more up later. but here are a few for now.

Today is my wife Cassie’s birthday,

I’m not much of a blogger and have tried to think of some brilliant poem or parody but to be honest I don’t feel that those things best describe Cass. For those of you that really know Cassie she is one of the most down to earth people that I know. That is what I love about her. She is truly one of those people who were blessed with the ability to show and express love and bless every life she touches. No matter where we go or who we meet people go out of their way to spend time with her and gain her association. There are a lot of good people in the world but it is truly rare to find someone who trusts and loves the people around them so unconditionally. Cassie is everything that a husband or child could ever want in a wife and mother. Sense we have been married she has opened doors to my heart that I didn’t know existed, she is truly the bandit that picked the locks and stole my heart. I want her to know that I am a better person when she is by my side. They say behind every great man there is a woman and I want her to know that when I finally become the man I want to be that no one will ever have to look behind me because she will always be at my side. She is my partner in crime, wife, best friend and one true love.

Happy birthday Cass I love you always and would be lost without you. I also want you to know that you are beautiful inside and out and I would happy spend the rest of eternity lost in your arms staring at those beautiful blue eyes.

December Update....

We have had a few things going on. Well first of all today is Tilden's Bday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!!!! WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!! We are so proud of you and are so thankful for all you do for us. You are a great man, and the BEST PILOT. Im proud to be your co pilot. Love you always and forever.
Tilden suprised me with the camera of my dreams!! the new Nikond90. I got it Thursday and I love it. It was a whole kit. It came with an awesome lens and bags and tripods and so much more. Thanks babe I love it!!! If you havent been able to tell my pictures have been so horrible and I have been complaining forever for a new camera but I never thought it would be this one. IT is amazing. So these pics are with the new camera. keep in mind I am a newbie so I am just on the basics for now. Oh man it is so exciting to have the best pictures that capture that moment. So I have been playing the last few days.
I can't wait to come home for Christmas and introduce all of our family and friends to Bella. Christmas is going to be lonely this year without Tilden but I am thankful that we have a great family that we will be sharing it with. And I am oh so excited to meet my new niece Morgan Ann. And Maddux said that he is excited to play with Cole and Carson.haha I love the Holidays!!!! We start our journey home in the next few days. We can't wait to see you all!!!!

To My Family.....

Today is my birthday. I am 25 years old. It seems like the older you get the less significant of an occasion it becomes. When you are young it is a big deal with lots of presents and a party, but as you age it becomes less of a occasion just another year and a list of things you failed to accomplish. Then it becomes significant once more as you approach mortality. Once again a party with presents to celebrate the fact that you lived another year on this earth with your family and loved ones. I guess age is our odometer telling us how many miles we have traveled and reminding us to take care of the fragile body we have been blessed with. Like a car with proper care and maintenance we can keep the wheels to the road enjoying all life has to offer. Instead of celebrating the fact that I am 25 this year I think I would rather bask in the fact that my engine is running and I have a beautiful life filled with incredible people who love me and share my joy on this road trip we call life.

To my son Maddux: Even when I can’t be there I love you and can’t wait to go on another adventure.

Maddy's Bday

Maddux likes helping me with everything so he made is bday cake. yummy He told me for weeks before his bday all he wanted was a blue cake with candles. I even offered the nice cakes from the store but he said no just a blue one with candles. haha so i did. it wasnt very pretty but he liked it and he liked helping make it.

A baby must have

So I have this wonderful and crafty friend Lacey and she makes slings and peekaboobies. haha they are so great. The peekaboobies are nursing covers that are so awesome for use in public. But my favorite is the sling. I have to tell you that I bought this sling wrap from some tree hugger store up here that cost 75 dollars and I cant figure the dang thing out. It is so long and complicated that you have to have 2 people put it on you. So that doesnt work for me. But up there in the picture I am wearing the sling that Lacey made me as a gift for Bella. It is so easy and works great. I recommend anyone that has a little one needs one. Bella doesnt like her carseat and since Tilden has been gone, going to the store is a nightmare. I have to carry Bella and push the cart at the same time. and Maddux in the cart. Going to wal mart one time made me so thankful for the great things we have to help us. Thank you Lacey for the great sling. So now when I go to the store this is how I wear it. Bella just falls asleep.

They grow so fast

I can't believe how much she has already changed just since Tilden left. She is at the stage where she is trying so hard to talk. She gets so excited and her arms and legs start going crazy and then this little adorable noise comes out. It's great!! And her hair is gettin so much longer already. its pretty funny. its turning into a little mullet. haha not really. but could be eventually. but anyway not a whole lot has been going on thats too fun. just super busy with appts and taking Maddux to school. but Maddux's bday is coming up on the 22nd. so that should be a fun day. we are just having a small little get together for him with a few friends at our house. it should be fun for him. I can't believe he will be 4 already. Time is flyin like crazy.

On Nov, 2nd we had to say goodbye to Tilden, once again as he goes back on deployment to Qatar. (Near Bahrain and Iraq) He will be gone for 5 months.
It is always so hard to say goodbye. Now more than ever. We just had a baby girl!!! He is going to miss alot. And Maddux he always goes through a hard patch when he leaves. He gets real angry. but that is to be expected. Thats his way of showing how he feels. This time around is definetly harder for me. Maddux is in school 4 days a week and therapy on the other day. So he is busy. as well as little baby girl. and can't forget our dogs. Which they are also acting out but I wont get into detail.) He has only been gone 6 days and I feel overwhelmed at times. So I didnt realize how much he really did for me and us. I feel like I am always complaining for him to do more. But when I look at it he does so much already. All the small things add up to make big things. I am going to miss him so much. So Yeah I am very jelous for all of you who are going to be with your families for the holidays. I so wish he could be with us. So be grateful of your loved ones this holiday season. We love and miss you babe!

Visitors......

The last week in October we had Tilden's brother Chance and his girlfriend Tiffany stay with us. We had a lot of fun with them. Here is at the corn maze on Oct 29th. And I had to have my Bestie Lacey and her two cuties come. It was fun. Maddux and Caleb are close little friends. Its cute.

So it took a little while to convince Maddux to let us paint his face but after I pulled the mirror out so he could watch he started to like it. This year Tilden figured out maddy's costume from stuff we had at home. Prices are getting scary so it helped not to have to buy a 25 dollar costume. This year he was a cowboy hunter ghost. haha he really liked it. And he was so stinkin cute. As a little boy Tilden loved Halloween and he still does, so he gets really into gettin dressed up, painting faces and going out. This year was a lot of fun for us.

Sweet little Bella, she was an adorable banana. She fit in the costume perfect. But started to sweat a little while after being in it. so it was just cute for pictures I guess. We werent to thrifty with her costume. We ended up buying hers. But saved on the other. lol.

My new hair color....

So I finally got my haircut but just the Aline cut off and then I colored it myself. It was long past time to do something with my hair. My highlights were down to my ears and the bottom was blonde and the top was brown. it was horrible. so here is what i did. Then we went for a little walk and I got to use the baby wrap we bought that was ridiculously expensive but it was great. and Bella loved it. But me and Maddy and Bella had a fun time taking a few pics.
